Matt Cotterill is one of the founders of The Physical Training Company, with a deep seated interest in fitness, specializing in Strength & Conditioning.

QUALIFIED

Matt has graduated with a BSc in Strength and Conditioning from St Mary’s University London and a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology from the prestigious Loughborough University.

EXPERIENCE

Matt has helped train many British Olympic and Paralympic Teams for the London 2012 Olympic Games, he later went on to hone his passion for Physiology and Strength & Conditioning with athletes before going on to work with English Institute for Sport as a data scientist. Matt has distinguished himself with over 10 years of experience at the highest levels.

About Matt

Matt is a personal trainer who is actually one of the founders of the Physical Training Company, he has worked with people of all fitness levels, from complete beginners to fitness via his Training Room sessions at Dubai’s Sport City, as well as elite Olympic athletes actively competing with his work back in the UK.

Matt was instrumental in shaping and developing the Physical Training Company’s Semi Private Personal Training Program, which meets his aspirations of developing a service that is fun, community minded and effective at achieving fitness goals for a fraction of the cost of regular personal training in Dubai.

Matt works primarily out of Just Play in Al Quoz, this is a very friendly environment in which to train, there is plenty of parking and The Physical Training Company have exclusive access to the facility, making it a great place for you to train with Matt either as One-on-One Personal Training or Semi Private Personal Training.

However you choose to train with Matt, the journey starts with a fitness assessment to determine your current fitness level, discuss factors such as any medical conditions, medical history or anything else that could influence your training. From there Matt will build a roadmap to get you from where you are now to where you want to be.
